150gr Nosler Balistic tip seated out
36.5 IMR 4350
 WLRP
WW Brass

  Not real fast but super accurate.
 NOT FOR TUBULAR MAGAZINES

  My handi is a 1-12" twist (produced in 92)

Thats what i like about the Handi's , you can use pointed bullets , mine just loves the Speer 180gr spitzers .

That's  .5gr over max for a 150gr jacketed RN in the Lyman 48th, seating it to a longer COL would reduce pressure a bit if it's not into the lands.  It's 2gr less than max in the Lee 2nd. ;)

quick,as you know, all these handis are different as far as pressure goes. The variances in the chambers and barrels leave those book figures somewhat irrelavent. Although they are a good guide to start from, each handi needs a book of its own when it comes to reloading for them. With the six or so 30-30 toppers and handis I have loaded for at one time or another, none of the loads were close to working in the others. That's the view from here.

Carbineman,

You and I are aware of that, but newbies may not, RV intimated his load was mild by saying it was not fast, but accurate, just want folks to know that it may be too hot to try as a starting place, it's better to start with recommended start data, either way, his load may very well be too hot for a min spec chamber. And since most 30-30's have a 1:10" twist, that's gonna be another variable in the mix. ;)
