Optima elite would be the equivalent. Several on here have them. Sounds like CVA did a nice job on this firearm.

The model is the CVA Optima Elite..and you can see all of their different rifles here...http://www.cva.com/index.htm...and you can contact their very good customer service department directly at 1-770-449-4687...They are very good rifles for the money..and have been very accurate for those of us shooting them so far..As to comparing them to an Encore..in the calibers they have available right now they will go head to head with them..at a substantial savings..The Encore advantage is in caliber selection availability..barrel length..and having a Walnut stock set available for them at the moment...but this will change in time...since they have only been available for a little over a year...and folks are finding out just how good they are...
