Are you referring to the 12FV?  I haven't seen anything called a 12-V.  I have a 12FV in 223 and with handloads the gun shoots sub MOA all day long as long as I do my part.  I don't think I'm any kind of a great competitive shooter, I give the gun all the credit.  Savages rifles are just accurate as all get out.

I believe he is refering to the new model, seen here...scroll down.
http://www.savagearms.com/2007_pressrelease.htm

Pretty impressive from all ends, especially the chamber in 6.5-284 Norma with a 30" barrel. If you want more info on it check here:
http://www.6mmbr.com/SixFive284.html

The action is a new tunned action as well with the Accu-Trigger weighing in as low as 6oz....thats very impressive in a factory offering.
I look forward to hearing more about this one as well. As well as the 308 model.

OK I got yah.  Yeah that's looks like a pretty nice rifle.  I saw another savage rifle that's going to be coming out soon too but it wasn't on their website anywhere, at least where I could find it.
