I've done it again! I know better than to accept a foreign weapon for repair but I thought I could make a blade for this front sight if I can't find a part. Later I came to my senses and realized that it has to be stainless steel and I don't have any in my junk pile.
Does anyone know where I can get a part for a M971 Rossi? I sent an e-mail off to Bob's Gun Parts but he is probably off fishing somewhere and I doubt if he has any.
Dadgum these importers that won't stock parts for their imports or hide out so you can't find them. Maybe Interarms isn't at fault, but I tried searching the Web and can't locate where they have secreted their site.
Anyone ever found it? I need to get in touch with someone who might know what I need. A real firearms person who won't try to sell me a new one and knows that a front sight blade is used to cut weeds.
