my remington/schneider sta loves the now discontinued barnes 250x bullet. killed several nice black bear 300 plus with it. I also have some trophy bonded 225 gr that shoot well also. I've tried the nosler partition 250's and speer grand slam 250's , but can't get the accuracy I want ( but at their cost load development is expensive). the hornady 250's shoot well and are inexpensive compared to the premiums and would probably work for everything here in north america. I currently have my sta sighted in for the barnes 225tsx-fb bullet and loaded to match the mill-dit reticle on my scope, that way there is no guess on hold out to 500 yards. hope this helps--jim
