Have any of you Hornet shooters tried the new Barnes 45 grain TSX yet?

Why would you want to use that great penetrateing bullet in the Hornet. All triple shocks that I shot were for big game and they were excellent. The Hornet is slow for that bullet.
Just my 2 cents.

Big HOGS! Back in October or so, I had some e-mail back and forth with Ty Herring at Barnes. I got the impression the 45 grain TSX was developed with the Hornet in mind.

Might work well on Eastern whitetails too!

I"m going to try some for pigs at night. I like the low noise factor and a penetrating bullet.

Did anyone ever try these? I was wondering how they would work on a coyote at close range.

Tried it no, but knowing a .22mag will smack a coyote down at close range, a tsx out of a .22 hornet would be plenty for a cotoye.
