Finally Finished Carriage

Worked has slowed a bit, so I finally finished my carriage for my first cannon.

 Nice job! I really like your elevating mechanism.  What is the bore size?

 Since, no one else has said it yet. We look forward to seeing some smokin' action shots.....  ;D

Once you get a few coats of paint on that carriage it will be finished. ;)

      Good Work!     Just stay away from the Krylon can.   I didn't know that black powder came in glass containers.  Not much smoke but a very reliable brand.

My first experience, as a kid with it, was the blasting powder (a little more gentle than black - so as not to shatter the rock) came in 1 quart canning jars - straight from the quarry where my step-dad got it.   ;D
