Has anyone here used the Loadbook USA 30-30 manuals?

I was just wondering if anyone has used the Loadbook USA manuals. Was thinking getting one for 30-30 win. Want to find a good manual with loads for spire points for a bolt action Savage.

I use them for 45 Colt, 45-70, 40 S&W/10 mm and 6 mm Rem Mag.  I think they're a good cross section of powder and bullet manufacturers data.  Additionally, I have the book Midway put out on the 45 ACP which to me is the definitive book for that caliber.  Extensive and they give pressures with each load.

Thanks, that's good to know. My brotherinlaw want to load for his 45 acp. I told him if he buys the dies, he can use my press to start out.

I have several, but not the 30-30, great resource for a lot of  load data, some of it is a bit dated being the only problem I see, data is direct from published sources, but I don't know how often they update em. All of mine are 2004 except the Hornet which is 2000.

I have the one in 30/30 and it helped me find a load for lead bullets. At 8 bucks you can't go wrong. If you need a special load, I can look up what they list for you.

I have several, for the .270, 7mm-08, 30-06, 300 Weatherby Mag, 7mm Rem mag, and the .308, but not for the 30-30.
They are very good, but sometimes the print quality isn't the best...

For someone that already knows how to handload and just needs load data they are great. Basically copied pages from legitimate loading manuals for one specific chambering. I have several. If you are looking for the "how too" they offer nothing.

When I was working up a load for my Savage 340, I searched all over and found very little published data for pointed bullets in the .30-30. I took what I found and used a crony to check what velocity I got. I decided not to push things too far, and still came up with some good loads at just over published velocity's. Working up that load is half the fun, good luck.

There's actually quite a bit of spitzer load data for the 30-30, you'll find it in several loading manuals in their handgun data.

Thanks guys for the info. I think I'll get them for all 3 of my rifles, could be usefull. I'm new to reloading, have the howto in the speer #13 manual that came with the rockchucker supreme kit. I was wanting to load some hornaday .30 cal. 110 grain sp bullits for my daughters 30-30 win. It's a savage 340. I do have some Winchester 760 powder & some CCI mag. large rifle primers. Don't know if if there are any loads for this combination for this gun, speer lists a load for the same grain bullit for plinking with this powder.
