was just given a box of 20 black hills 45-70 405 gr. fpl anyone shoot this how are they thanks bighemidaddy

Aren't those a cowboy action rounds. Lowww Velocity? Really mild. Kentucky windage kind of stuff.

Blackhills list them at 1250 FPS which will put them in the middle of level 1 ( trapdoor ) loads , i have not shot their ammo but with these numbers they ought to be a smooth , low recoil load to shoot .
