Pivot gun stand

I'm looking for plans to build a stand for a 22inch, 50 lb, pivot gun (1' bore).
Any related information welcomed.

Presumably you mean a one inch bore.   ;D  When you say "pivot gun," do you mean a swivel gun (small caliber gun of the 18th century or earlier) or the large caliber US Navy guns (see "The Gun that Sank the Alabama" at the bottom of this web page) of the Civil War period?

I'd look for a large cast-iron ornamental post that could be bolted to the deck.  Perhaps something naval.

Yes, I guess I should have said swivel gun rather than pivot gun w/ 1 inch bore(typo). I currently have the barrel on a naval style carriage. Last year I saw a war of 1812 re-enactment group that had a mobile sled type stand for their 1 pound swivel gun. I contacted them for the plans and I'm waiting to see if they reply.
