parker hale midland, I need help.

I have a Parker hale midland 243. I would like to put a good set of rings and bases on this gun. The only bases I can find are weaver, does anyone know if a set of  03 springfield bases would fit? Also were these guns any good?  Ron

My Midland is based on a commercial mauser, Weaver bases 45 and 46 come to mind.  I checked the Weaver site and the Springfield seems to take different numbers.  My rifle is chambered in 7mm rem mag with a fixed 6x Leupold on top, if I do my part it is sub moa.  Hope this helps.

My midland is a knock off of a springfield.  The Springfield o3 a3 could work but the hole pattern in the back is different. I got the Weaver ordered. I don't remember off hand but I think they were 71 and 75.   Ron
