Ready to place my order for a 97

  After reading much input from this Forum I am ready to place a order with mt local Gun Shop this week. Hope that I like it as it is far any away the most expensive gun that I have ever got.

Model 97 - Premier Grade - 7 1/2" - Octagon Barrel with Inverted Crown
45 Caliber with extra 45ACP Fitted Cylinder
Black Micarda Grips
Polished and Jeweled Hammer and Trigger
Factory fitted trigger at 3.0 lbs with fitted trigger stop
Extra front sights in Gold bead and Fiber Optic
Snap Caps in 45 Colt and 45ACP
Standard Premier Sights
  My shop quoted me $2,570 including $45 shipping which is about 10% less that the web retail prices.
  Total with CA sales tax and DROS fee will be $2,810 - Have to pay 50% deposit up front to place order.
Hope that I am doing thr right thing?  Should be a Beautiful Gun!  I will be using for Target only no hunting or holster use.

Oh joy!  If only I had the moola to buy a $2600 target pistola!!  Well, you lucky sunuvagun you, that gun will bring you years of pleasure and service, you won't ever regret buying the best.  Congratulations and we'll be waiting for the range report right after it arrives.

That sounds like excitement and good sense to me.. your investment will last a couple of lifetimes... may you feel as lucky as you really are...and send in a range report.. tell others what helped you to decide.. when they ask... share as others will with you..
