ALL current production centerfire rifle barrels are extractors now unless H&R just happens to have some older barrels still in their inventory, from time to time they find that kind of situation. It's possible that some of their less popular barrels like the 450 might still be available with ejectors, but not too likely any more.

Just a couple years ago they found a bunch of 270 and 30-06 Ultra Comp barrels, plus some mannlicher forends, all of which have been sold now.

But I wouldn't plan on getting an ejector barrel any more unless it's on a shotgun or rimfire.

My son just got his .450 Marlin barrel back last Friday and it came with an ejector.  There must be some older ones still floating around at the factory.

I just bought a 450 barrel from nomosendero that is almost new.  It is an ejector.

Having only used extractor barrels previously, the ejector takes some getting used to.  I always manage to launch the empty brass right at my face.  The ejector provides a faster reload for follow up shots, but if you hit any animal with a 450, you won't need a follow up shot.

NIB doesn't necessarily mean recent production for a complete rifle, the 450M isn't available in a current production rifle, it's only available in the accessory barrel program, just as the .357 is.

H&R has runs of 100 barrels made when ever they order barrels, that run of 100 could take quite a while to sell in a not so popular round like the 450. ;)

Got a 450 Marlin barrel from H&R about 45 days ago. It's an ejector which is just fine with me ... missed the click in my newer barrels.

Shoots great, same as a 45/70. The 450 Marlin is an Ultra Barrel. Comes with a scope rail and no sights. I put a Pentax fixed 6 power scope on it. Love the combination. The Hornardy Leverevolution ammo will rattle your teeth a little, then I hand load the used brass same as my 45/70 with RL7 & 300 gr Remington HP. Very accurate and yes I'm happy with it. Minus my shipping cost to get it there the barrel, fitting and shipped back to me was $110.00 total.
