Left Hand

OK, The wife just "ordered-up" a new bolt action for her Birthday.  Since I have gifted her all her weapons, that means me.  Only problem is she's a southpaw.  She has a nice Savage, but also wants an All-Weather, S/S Synthetic.  I looked around and see my options for purchase are Savage, Browning, Sako/Tikka, Remington.  I collect Ruger 77's but alas no left hand receivers.  Who makes a lefty in a true All Weather.  We will be hunting Alaska soon.................

I have the lefty Ruger M77MkII stainless, laminate in .25-06.  It's a fine gun and accurate, but maybe a little heavy for your wife.  Ruger only makes lefty guns in long actions.  I've also got some Savages, including a Model 16 weather warrior in .223 Rem.  It's stainless with a cheap, plastic stock.  But it shoots well and I like the accutrigger.  More cartridge choices with the Savage than other manufacturers.  I can't speak from experience regarding Tikka or Browning.  Don't think Remington makes a stainless, lefty rifle.
