Would you recommend them if you have some on your 4 wheeler?  I have a 1991 fourtrax with the original tires.  New some new ones.  They look like pretty good mud tires.

They honestly do a great job on the rear but you won't like them on the front.  They give a rough ride and very unusual steering characteristics when used on the front.  On the rear the roughness is'nt nearly as noticeable and they will dig you through places in 2wd that you're used to barely making in 4wd.  Use a lighter weight less agressive tire on the front and you'll be a lot happier.  Mudrunners, blackwaters or others are good for this purpose.  ITP mudlites are a good all around tire and much lighter.

is that 2WD or 4WD?   I tried some on a cousins Honda Foreman 4X4 and some Titan 589's on Bro in Laws Grizzley 4X4.    Both of those tires really did awsome in deep mud and on hard packed ground, the gators were a bit more rough riding than the Titan's.  Personally I would go with the Titan 589's.  If they made them small enough for my Kawasaki Mule, I would have them, but since they don't I have Titan 489's on the rear and original tires on the front.

It is a 2WD fourtrax.  Actually the front tires are still in good condition.  I'll check out those titans.

Another thing to consider certainly since your bike is 2wd instead of 4wd is the weight of the replacement tires.  All the titans are very heavy but then again so are the vampires, swamp pros, and all other 6ply tires.  Added weight is a killer on power even if you use the same size tires as stock.

The added weight doesn't mean nearly as much with a mule or the other utilities as they are used for a different purpose than a 4wheeler and are already heavy anyway.

Old syko is right about the Titans being heavier than most OEM tires.  Thats one of the things to consider, however the tire is heavier for a reason and those much thicker tires, sidewwalls included, work great for me, since I tore the sidewalls out of the originals pretty quickly.  If your fourtrax displacement is 250cc or higher, the heavier tires won't be much of an issue unless you are racing and don't want to lose a split second of time.   Good luck.

I would put the ITP 589's before I would put the Titan 589's. The only real difference is the ITP's don't have the rim guard but they seem to hold together better in the long run and I find they pull a little harder.

For a smooth ride and "descent" mud capabilities I would really consider the Maxxis Mudlite's. I have rode with these and they pull fairly good in the mud and ride rather smooth.
