C&R question, Missouri

New to the C&R, in Mo. when I purchace a modern handgun from a type 1 ffl dealer I must get a permit to aquire from the sheriff, now that I have a C&R if I purchace a c&r handgun, will I still have to get that permit to aquire or does my licence override that on a c&r handgun?

The C&R license is irrelevant; In Missouri, you don't need a PTA to transfer a C&R handgun.  Unfortunately, not all dealers are aware of this.
