I have the fobus also witch holds the pistol pretty tight. The Uncle Mikes is alot looser with a strap to hold the gun in place, I'm pretty sure it has a strap I know all my other hostlers by Uncle Mike have straps

I know this is not a brand you asked about but you should really look at a Comp-Tac kydex holster.(www.comp-tac.com)  Here are a couple pics of my Glock 23 in a Comp-Tac speed paddle.  These paddle holsters are very sturdy and really lock into your belt.  Notice the "stability tabs" on the side view.  They lock up under your belt and make this holster rock solid.

Of the two, I'd lean toward Uncle Mikes but there's nothing wrong with the Fobus.

I like Glock's holster myself.

The Glock holster is a good one for the price.

I have a Fobus paddle holster and it works very well for around the house. It's easy to put on and take off but it doesn't conceal the gun as well as others if that's a concern for you.
I have a Comp-tec IWB holster and it is a good holster with good customer service. I'll most likely get another Comp-tec when I have a need for another holster.

I have the Uncle Mikes paddle and while I am generally  not a big fan of paddle holsters this one fills the role very well.  The handgun is held securely in place with adjustable tension screws.  The paddle stays in the pants and has a retaining hook to help with this.  The holster is generally well made and I have had mine for 3 years with no problems.  I do not like the Fobus holsters, I have had the rivets that hold them together break, the material to crack, and the fit is not as good as the Uncle Mikes.  There are better Kydex holsters out there than either of these but they are more expensive so to answer the question asked, get the Uncle Mikes I feel it is the better of the two by a long shot.

the don hume is leather not plastic ! not sure what rivets break !
the clip that holds it in place is steel and after 3 years shows no cracking ! nor does the leather which has been wet more than I would like since I work construction !
i'm not a salesman ,so to each his own !
