Vortex optics?

Does anyone have any of these products?  I keep hearing pretty good things about some of their products. Anyone have any experience with them?

A friend has had the Vortex Viper 8x42mm for over a year now and likes them very much.  I've looked through various Vortex models over the years and they are very competitive across their product line.
