Auxillary Sites?...
« on: September 07, 2008, 09:18:53 AM »
Anybody know of, heard of, or have an idea of... Some sort of gun-site (siting system?) that could be attached to a firearm where "Senior" could help "Junior" put the bead or cross-hairs on the right spot???

What about one of the laser bore sighting cartridges that fit in the breech? Junior could project the laser onto a wall or something and then check the sights to see how they line up.
They're caliber specific so you'd have to order one for that particular firearm.

I like your thinking Joe! :)

He target shoots and plinks with a laser sight, but for hunting the law says no light (lasers included) may be projected. Probably on account of poachers and spot-lighting. Maybe some day the law will say its okay for a vision impaired (disabled) person to utilize such a device for hunting. Perhaps even with assistance.

I like the looks of this from Bushnell:
