Does anyone know of any gun shops that may have a KP1 stainless / synthetic in .444 Marlin in the Southeast Louisiana area?

Check Chag's on Veterens. I know that they have a couple of 45/70's.

I just thought about it and I don't remember Knight making a 444 nor do I see one on there website. You might want to try a 45-70 if not. I had a few problems with mine at first but I sent it off to knight and all is well now.

Knight does make it in .444 Marlin. I found one at Spillway Sportsman yesterday. It is the KP1 Wurfflien Rifle.

They make a 45-70, 444 Marlin, and a 44 magnum.  I have the 45-70, it was released before the 444 and 44mag were however.

They also list barrel kits in .444 IF you can find one, but it might be as rare as the .444 rifle!! :-\

I learn something new every day. Good luck with that 444. Let us know how it shoots.
