Using the info from the sticky in the rifle area I finished my trigger in a couple of evenings,
could have been completed in a single night but I got a little bling/blingy with my trigger
The result was just over 2#4oz with a perfectly smooth pull. My groups were outstanding
prior to the trigger work, had to turn my scope 2 clicks left to counter my 3# reduction in
pull. My son's reaction at the range was "wow this trigger is cool".
If you feel confident in trying trigger work yourself here is a newbie's thoughts after doing
a handi's trigger: The roll pins are not nearly as hard to remove as the links would have you
believe (in my case, 17hm2 sport). The inner mechanics are by far easier than any gun I have
ever modified (maybe 7 trigger jobs myself). With a home made slave pin (made from a 3/16"
aluminum rivet) you can teardown, polish, assemble and retest in a couple minutes.
