Shot groups from the new 93R17

Got to shoot the new Savage 93R17 today. Wind was a little high, but this is a good day for me. You will notice each group has a flyer from it being the first shot from a clean barrel. The rest came together pretty good. First time using the Accutrigger. It rocks!
1# Top right shot is the flyer

2# Bottom shot is the flyer. This is my best group of the session.

This is very good when you consider that a barrel will "smooth out" some after a couple hundred rounds go through it. Sometimes the need for a fouling shot can go away too, but if not it is not a big deal.
I may have to try one of these, thanks for the info!

The suggested retail price for this gun off the Savage website is $225.00. Ipicked it up at my local gun shop for $190.00. The Tasco Target/Varmit scope held zero through all settings as well. I am very pleased.  They are a blast to shoot.

I paid 229.00 for my Savage 93R17, camo stock, accu trigger, and it is sweet

As you get more used to it, most of your groups will look like the bottom one..

i have one with a sporter barrel and a synthitic stock and it dont shoot that well i dont care for it it dont know where near what my heavy barrel marlin does i think it has some thing to do with the flexable stock but thats my 2 cents i wouldnt buy another one if i had to do it all over again a savage any way
