Buckfever,
You are talking about the cream of the crop. The Cooper 52 is, IMHO, on the same level as some of the finer Dakotas, which are an outstanding piece of machinery.
I have limited experience with the 52, but from the experience that I do have, I can tell you that it is just amazing. The quality and fit and finish is outstanding. Working the bolt is very smooth, and the trigger is excellent. Essentially, you are buying an almost custom gun.
Now, is it worth the money? Well, only you can answer this question. You are going to have to come up with some serious coin for this gun. I will say this, and this is probably a bold statement, but I find the Cooper 52 to be of equal, or better, quality and fit and finish than the Sako 75 Deluxe, and the Sako is one heck of a gun!
I am sure that you will be very pleased with the Cooper 52 if you buy it. I just have 2 concerns: 1) don't get buyer's remorse when the credit card bill comes in (and if you do, go out and shoot it so that you forget about the bill). 2), and most importantly, don't let your wife see the bill because if she does.........well, you know.
My best advise for you at this point is that I really, really, really want you to handle the gun in your hands and see how it feels to you. If it doesn't feel right, especially for the money, then just walk away from it. However, if it feels great, then cross that bridge when you get to it.
Sounds like a plan?
