360 DW--should I bother?
« on: May 01, 2007, 06:33:25 PM »
I can't find any real load data anywhere.  I accept that it is a wildcat cartridge, but I figured that if Starline made the brass then I would be able to find some real data SOMEWHERE.  There are some old posts from Paul5388, but what is the starting load?  There isn't that much difference in the price of brass for how long it should last being a straightwall case....

I found a box of Federal AE 158gr 357 Mag loads at the local gunshop and I am anxious to try them.  Does anyone have any 360 numbers and recommendations?

Only thing Paul went having Star line brass splitting soon after
a few loadings, I recamber my 357 to max, useing Rem brass
total, I have never seen any D W loads in print. There is some
for Maxie. I think for cost the best is to recamber to Maxie.
 Just my 2 cents Marv.

I would definately feel more comfortable with tested loads.  The 357 Max would be an added complication (getting the reamer) but I think that I would feel safer.

If anyone knows some 360 DW info then please let me know.
