I went to Gander Mountain this morning and they had Rossi single shot rifles for $149+ tax of $9 so $158 OTD, had choice of 223 or one youth 308, now I am not a youth but 308 is by far my favorite round. I do not think it will be a problem as I like the shorter pull. I like the AK pull which is about the same, I figure for that price I can go and get a 223 next week.
The man I deal with is a friend he and I retired as truck drivers. Anyhow he said that they got a notice from the head buyer that there will be a sharp increase in 223 prices due to the shortage of the round. Not a big deal as I have a five gallon bucket half full of 223 brass just thought I would pass that on.
Now this is my first Rossi SS had a 92 in 44/40 still miss it, also a 357 revolver that was very good, also miss that one. Is there any thing I need to know about the SS that is unique to Rossi?
