M&P 45

Finally got to shoot my new M&P 45. This is the best 45 I have ever shot,bar none. The novak sights come onto to target quickly,and the gun recoils like a 9 mm. Smith & Wesson has hit a grand slam with this gun.I wish I could have carried this when I was working the road.

w8cop:  the S&Ws have received some very nice write-ups in both the gun magazines and in Gun Tests.  It is nice to read that some real folks are having the same type of positive experiences the gun writers are having.  Helps confirm a good product.  Keep shootin'.  Mikey.

Picked my M&P 45 today, no safety, no lock and no mag disconnect!!!!!!!!!!!! Feels excellent in my hand with the medium backstrap, be shooting a lot of 45's tomorrow  with it and my Blackhawk with the 45 ap cyl. ;D ;D

Does anyone happen to have the M&P .45, as well as the XD .45?  If so, please compare.

I have the M&P, haven't shot it yet, have shot a XD 40 and my buddy's XD45 Tactical which is a very accurate auto. I traded  my XD40 for a Ruger GP 100 . I have a Glock 22 40, the M&P feels better than the Glock and XD's, points really well for me.
