I just got a 55# bear kodiak hunter recurve in vg condition, the medallion is missing, Is there a way to find the age of this bow, and is there a way to get the correct medallion to replace the buffalo nickle that is there now? thanks for any help..

If you go to the web site for Michigan Traditional Bowhunters, ask about Lonnie Collins and his Recycled Recurves.  Someone there will put you in touch with Lonnie, who is very well versed regarding Bear bows.  He also has a slug of Bear archery stuff, including buttons.
