What T/C Pistols Does This Scope Fit?

Can any T/C guys help me identify which T/C pistol barrels this T/C scope will fit?

The scope is a T/C 2.5-7X variable pistol scope with a lighted reticle.  According to T/C, it will not fit Encore barrels because the barrel radius is different.

As you can see, the scope is made to work with this mount and this mount only.  The lug on the bottom of the scope slides into the mount and is secured with the 2 hex head screws.  The lug prevents using normal rings with a weaver-type base, which is what I originally had planned on using.

Yep......if you remove the rear sight from any Contender barrel I have it will have the same four screw pattern on it as that base.

I had a 'scope like that, and when I called T/C, they had me send it in, and sent me a new 'scope ,base and rings.

Those were referred to as "rail mount" scope and bases. They were an attempt to have a secure system to mount the scope and the cross screws prevented it from moving under recoil. The also spawned the term "recoil proof" scopes . Like the other posters say TC has moved on from this system to regular base system for weaver type  mounts.They were perfectly good scopes , just not popular. They will fit the hole pattern on an Encore but , because the base is not the correct radius , not stay attached very long.

I have a TC 4X electra dot scope with a rail mount mounted on my 50 cal TC scout muzzleloader like the one you have. Always wondered if the scout had the same hole pattern as the contender.

If you are not happy with that scope I will trade a redfield 2 and 1/2x handgun scope with a weaver mount and 3 tasco rings for it.

The scope is very clear but it does have rings marks what should be hidden with the  3 tasco rings. PM me if you pictures and or to work something out

I'd like to try and make it work first. 

I wonder if you could use plastic or rubber as a shim to make the radius match up so it wouldn't slip?

It's on a .308 pistol, so it's got to handle quite a bit of recoil!

No this won't work you would have to mill out the channel on the bottom of the base as the encore barrels are wider then the contender barrels.
The screw pattern is the same but the mount is not wide enough to fit
It will Sheree the mount off in short order and damage the screw hole treads.

The rail mount have never been overly strong mounts
