A Saw Blade for Asphalt would be...?
«

I have some 4 feet of slot cutting to do in a 2" thick asphalt parking pad but ain't sure what blade to use to cut it. Been thinking of using old worn-out carbide combination wood cutting blades in a 7" circular saw.
Anybody have experience or better ideas for sawing a bit of asphalt?

Go down to your local tool rental and rent a hand held Quickie saw used for cutting concrete and brick. It will have a diamond blade on it. It will cut it like a hot knife through butter. You can probably rent it for $30.00 or $40.00 a day.
