5.7 x 28mm?
« on: May 23, 2007, 09:21:05 AM »
Looks like it could be a fun little round for a handi, anyone know if a hornet barrel would work rechambered?

I know a 22 mag would work.

It's been discussed before. Georgeld did a .17x28 from a 17Hmr that uses 5.7x28 brass, but he's still working on the ejector.

I believe that Ron Reed one of our Sponsors here at GBO kinda sorta specializes in this round. He likely would be a good source of info on it. I know he has had TC barrels made up to sell in this round and I think some other barrels as well. I'm thinking he might be a wealth of info for you on it and is a nice guy who doesn't mind sharing.
