I finally finished this bad boy. Ultra .308 with ultra rail, Widefield 3-9, and survivor stocks. 28" 12G modified on the side.

Looks like a combo that ought to take just about any game in North America all in one nice little package .

That's a nice looking rig. How does the swing feel with the shotgun barrel?

You can guess that the butt stock is quite light. The balance point is exactly where the fore stock meets the frame, and I guess it really should balance on your trigger finger. The butt stock has an ammo box built in, which could be weighted. Maybe I should add a recoil reducer in there before I claim to be finished.

I was curious about the balance.I would love to hear how it does with a little butt weight. It still looks like a really versatile set up. Hope you enjoy it.

I just did the same thing last week with my ultra 223. only difference is I added a sling stud under the forearm for my bipod.I had put a small bag of shot in the butt ( about 2 lbs ) But found it wasn't necessary.
