It might be worth a try. Still, it's always good to get a caliber worth of bullet in the case neck. I am aware that this is not always possible with light bullets, and the typically long throat in a 6.5x55.
You may have to live with the limitations of that rifle, and stick to 120's, or 140's, but a Lee Factory crimp die might help with 100's. Of course, you could have the barrel set back a bit, and rechambered, but that takes more money.
