coyotes
« on: May 26, 2007, 06:10:51 PM »
is there something wrong with the coyote's now? my grandma went camping and they were at her camper every night. and it seems everytime we run the dogs to give them some excercise the coyotes start running the dogs. a few nights ago we had a coyote run the hound into the truck then jump him. but he wasnt lucky enough to get away before the hound got a hold of him. anyone else having problems with coyotes?

I think there getting more aggressive and bold. i have been having problems for several years running my beagles at night. Yotes will run them down and kill them. I usually carry a .22 piston and when I hear yotes sounding in to my dogs Ill fire it in a safe direction. My gun dogs pay no attentin but the yotes get scared and leave.
Love them Big Iron's
