  News coming through From Caracas, Venezuela..
   That fat, little munchkin dictator of Venezuela may be on borrowed time. He has used a cowardly, compliant assembly of elected reps from the provinces to practically disolve the constitution, shut down any opposition TV & press, claimed the oil industry for his own and otherwise enslaved his people.
   Now the people are in the streets..not just college students, but the working class and the wealthier people. People aged from high school to senior citizens.

    Never mind that His Majesty Hugo is the darling of Danny Glover, Harry Belefonte and the rest of the Hanoi Jane hollywood types..his people don't like him !

   How did he get into power ? He appealed (in this former democracy) for the many votes of the "gimme" crowd that want govt handouts.
  He promised them the moon & stars..but the only moon they got was him "mooning" them after the election..the only stars they saw were produced by a hired thug's club !
 
   There have been dictators from the right and the left...but in the last 50 years the chances are MUCH greater that they will arise from the left.

  Watch the news..protests by the people are strong in Venezuela now..how long before " Adolph Hogo Munchkin" starts killing them ?

Hopefully, this is an encouraging sign for Venezuela, but we'll have to wait and see if the people can really prevail.  Viva Revolution!!

All but one of his citgo stations have gone under around here, they have switched to Marathon and Texaco. He's running out of money with all the lost business. POWDERMAN.  ;D ;D

powderman.  Don't think for one minute that he is running out of money........The world market for oil is such that even if we refuse to buy from him he can sell elsewhere, passably for an even higher price.  The old Soviet Union, and China are buying gas as fast as it can be produced.  Consumption rates in these countries are raising each day, and will continue to rise for quite a while. 

To correct the problem in Venezuela, we can only hope the people see the light and take thing into their own hands.  They may need assistance in arms and ammunition, but I would bet that could be arranged.

  Being born and raised in the good Ole USA I cannot understand people wanting to live under a dictatorship. Why in these countries do the people not rise up and blot these animals out? I for one am offended when a "Royal" is on TV. Are these people so weak minded that they need to be lead? Live free or Die.

   I received an e-mail heads up from my brother the other day..
   
  According to the notice shared by him and his Navy vet friends, old Hugo Chavez is feeling the pinch from the boycott of Citgo !
 
  In an effort to BS the buying public...he will rename some Citgo stations ..." PETRO EXPRESS"...!

  TM, that Kyoto agreement has me steamed also...and to think the Dems and socialist Europe gave our Prez a hard time for refusing to sign on !
  I heard a Democrat ad the other night that claimed that China and India were in "full accord" with the Kyoto agreement..

  Now THERE is some SPIN !!!

  While China and India may be in"full accord" with the agreement; that doesn't mean they have signed on to it's restrictions...more likely,. they are in "full accord" that the rest of us be held back by the restrictions...and not them..spin,spin,spin...

I also heard that Citgo was changing their name to Vallero, or something like that. Hopefully Pat Robertson's comment of a year or two ago will come to pass. If somebody in our gov't has a brain cell or 2 working, maybe we have a CIA operative or 2 down there, working in a little propaganda. Or giving  one of the rebels a little long range instruction.
