Has anyone purchased the Advanced Technologies or similar adjustable pistol grip stocks, alum. heat shield  w) nylon ghosts rings,forearm, shell holder,etc. ?  Does the forearm completely replace the original ?  How was the lock up ?

If so please comment on the fit, overall quality, pros & cons,etc.

Pics would be a plus.

Thinking of cutting down my 12 ga.  camo turkey to 18.5" and making a little H.S. / Tact. Partner to mess around with.

I put the ATI on one of my shotguns to make a pack gun once.

I dont know if I would trust the ATI with a 12 gauge for repeated shooting.  It may collapse under recoil.

It did work ok for me except you had to really hunker down for a sight picture and the forearm is just too huge for looks.

Outside of that no worries

They are plastic pieces of junk which seem to appeal to anyone of the "mall ninja" frame of mind.Tactical my rear!

I have a youth, 22" ,12ga, barrel with wood stocks, it kicks like a mule, I decided against taking it any shorter and the plastic stocks would just add to that.  While having much "eye appeal" they have been known to collapse occasssionally.  Somewhere, a pic was posted of what happened to a person who had that happen.  He had quite a "shiner" as I recall.  I would stick with a Tamer or Survivor stock or even just a regular synthetic stock with a slip on shell holder.  Just my 2 cents.

Gentleman, I have in my possession just such a shotty.  It is fully tricked out.  I will post picks as soon as the "significant other" brings the camera back.  Stay tuned, you will not be disappointed.  12 ga., 18.5" barrel, all of the ATI accessories I could get to fit. The" Uber Tactical" Pardner.  Ammo of choice is Aquila Mini Buckshot and Slugs.
