I've been thinking of doing a little wild catting...something like this...

If not this one...then perhaps a .338x64mm would be pretty cool too...

Looks like a .300 Win Mag barrel bored to .375" would get you there and then some!! I like it!! Now if CVA will get the barrels to us!!

Not really Tim:

I won't use the 300 WM case for this...I'll use the 338wm case..the shoulder is in a better place for it already..and the 300WM is too long



It will actually be done on one of the 26" 222 Bull barrels or 223 bulls when they come out...I want the chamber a little tighter on this one and a wee bit longer neck..so if I go with the belted case... I'll be using the 338 Win Mag case instead...Brass would be much easier to get quickly using the 338wm case over the 9.3x64..and cheaper around here too...but I would prefer not dealing with the belted cases..I can always opt to just make it a 338 wm as well and not worry about custom dies too...Lots of options at this stage of the game...just need the barrels in hand to finalize which direction I'll go..
