    Ohio man hit by car sues makers of alcoholic drink Published  10:39 AM EDT Oct 02, 2012          View Large    Photos    COLUMBUS, Ohio —   A central Ohio man seriously injured when he ran into traffic and was struck by a car is suing the makers of a controversial alcoholic drink he says made him do it.
  The Columbus Dispatch reported that 28-year-old Richard "Tommy" Whaley filed suit against Phusion Products, the Chicago-based maker of the Four Loko drink.
Whaley blamed the fruit-flavored malt liquor -- which combined caffeine and a high alcohol content -- for his irrational behavior and said the company failed to warn consumers about its potency
The company said it doesn't comment on pending lawsuits.
Under pressure from the Food and Drug Administration, Phusion announced in November 2010 that it would remove caffeine and other stimulants from Four Loko

You ever notice, when someone does something stupid or illegal.  The answer is always, it's someone or something else's fault.  "The drink made me do it!"  "I wouldn't have killed him if the gun didn't go off, so it was the gun makers fault!",  "I wouldn't have robbed them, but they had money, and I didn't, society should have made me a rich man!"

The judge should throw the case out as a frivolous lawsuit, and government should refuse to pay the jerks medical bills.
