Looking for a 4 Season 6 person Car camping Tent

Any suggestions?  My last tent was shredded last winter by high winds, and I now need a new hunting camp tent.

I like the looks of the Walled tents in the Cabelas catalog.
We use an older Cabelas Alaskan guide tent.
Sounds like an advertisement but it is not meant to be.

Im thinking of either their Alaskan Guide or their Outfitter Series XWT-Xtreme Weather Tent.  Id like to be able to set it up by myself, as sometimes Im the first one at camp.  I'd hate to have to wait for others just to set up.  The alaskan seems to need 2 people to set up.

Im not crazy about the dark green as this tent would see some summer use as well - hot.

I use a tent fly (large tarp) as a sun shield during the summer and storm fly during the cold months.  My best 6-person dome tent came from Costco many years ago.  I believe it may be a Eureka brand.  It has seen a lot of use, and some pinholes are starting to develop.  It is Forest Green in color.

I bought an eight place Hillary tent from Sears a few years back to replace it.  It is not a cold weather tent.  The only reason it held up in a couple of serious winter storms is that I had 12x18 foot tarp suspend a foot over it, and then out the sides to the ground to protect it.  Hillary is somewhat sturdy but not built for cold weather.  The old green dome tent comes out now if the weather appears to be threatening.   I remember the Sears of old when they sold quality products.  I have not been back into Sears since purchasing that tent.

I have a great Forest Green Wall Tent what my father-in-law bought from Sears in 1955-56.  He was an Army officer in Alaska and the tent met his needs up there and when he moved his family down the Alaskan Highway to the lower 48-States camping out in route.  He gave it to me in the 60’s.  My family and I used it, and I used it hunting.  A good strong tent and it has held up for years but has received little use since I got the green dome tent.  The reason is that the canvas tent is heavy.

I should note that the tent fly (tarp) saved a family camping trip when a heavy summer thunder shower lasted a few hours flooding the surrounding area.

We recently went through this process.  Qualities wanted:  Full rain fly coverage, 6 person, 2 doors, at least one vestibule, not too heavy, $400 or less.  Looked at Cabelas both Alaskan Guide and XWT, looked at Kelty's, looked at NorthFace, Looked at REI.   Ended up with the REI mostly due to a 20% off discount.  The XWT was a strong second and many people recommend the Alaskan but i didn't want to spend that much.  We'll see how it works out this summer!  Very slim possibiliy of an elk hunt in oregon in the fall and would not hesitate to take it.

I'd be happy with a 3-season tent that would allow me to standup (I'm 3' 37"), handle two large cots, have a vestibule that would keep the bugs away and be able to handle rain and moderate wind. I don't need a woodstove and I'm not going to be camping in the snow.

I've been looking at the Eureka Teradon 9 and the Kelty Green River 6. I'm not sure that the Eureaka is quite large enough and it lacks a vestibule, but it is about $150. The Kelty has the room and vestibule but runs about $260.

Any more tents in the sub-$300 range I should consider?

I recently bought one of the new and improved Cabelas Alaskan Guide 6-man tents (fiberglass poles). The new version has the built in vestibule. It is easier to setup if you have a helper, but I have done it by myself.
