I might be buying a monte carlo pallet wood buttstock from NEF. Anyone know how much they are, about?

Am thinking since no one wants to buy my 280 stuff I'll just have to order a 280 barrel and monte carlo stock
. Are any of the Montecarlo stocks of the kind of wood similar to the BC or Target model?

The only stock that comes close is the Topper Deluxe Classic walnut stock which is checkered also, I have one on my 405 Win Target.

I'm afraid the comb might not be high enough, especially when I have to raise the dixie scope for long range shots. Guess I'll have to go with pallet wood and try to dress it up some.
