The one year i used the accubonds out of my 7 mag i had 2 failures in a row,a cow elk at 50 yards, frontshoulder shot, gernaded and didnt penetrate for s***,2nd one was a deer at 100 yards, same thing,i contacted Nosler and thier rep told me they "may have had a hicup in thier bonding process that would make anything over 3000 fps too much",they may have fixed it but there is NO bonding process with the barnes triple shocks to have any hicups so ill stick with them,I was a lifelong Nosler fanatic but the new barnes bullets put animals down like no other bullet i have ever loaded,i cant wait to try their new bullets with the heavier than lead rear core, supposed to really carry some downrange energy.
