The "real" Creature of Spencer Creek
« on: June 29, 2007, 05:15:26 PM »
It will be on a full moon night when it comes for you.  First, in a vision wherein you see your own grisly death with eyes plucked from your face and flesh ripped from your body and consumed with barely enough bones left to make a bag for burial.

It will come with the beating of wings.

In the body of an owl and then the legs of a man finally transforming into the twisted torso of a monster.

Annoint yourself with the smoke of cedar bark but even the medicine tree's power alone cannot save you from death.

Keep your blowdart close and the thorn spike coated with poison for the man-owl will not stop until one of you are dead.

Keep dry cornshucks around your window and shoot with your faith for eyesight will fail you when the time comes.

Yessir, 'ol Tom Bigbee stalks them bottoms yessiree he stalks them when the moon is full and the coyote speaks.

Look no owl in the eye and their cry in the day is the cry of death.

Some have described the peacock/woodduck whistle/squeal being heard down on Spencer creek.  Could it be 'ol Tom?

Your medicine had best be strong.  :o

If you  change the water in the bong I believe the creature will look more like the "fat lady" of the opera.

This was a synopsis adaptation from; Walking the Choctaw Road (stories from red people memory) by Tim Tingle (Cinco Puntos Press, 2003) Library of Congress Cataloging-in-Publication Data.

Your anglo(esque) reactions are both predictable and humorous as it's apparent you've absolutely no concept of NA culture.

Go shoot another 70 million bison?

Im part NA bigshot,i have lived on a reservation,i was conceived on a reservation,my cousins are 100% NA,your jiberish does nothing to enforce the NA culture, you really put your foot in your mouth on a regular basis, this time Im not going to sit by and laugh at you, your "anglo" jokes may seem funny to you but its nothing but watered down racism.

We're in the same boat (family blood-wise) except that while I've a "foot in my mouth", your heart is apparently poisoned with a hatred for me based upon a notion made of clay feet.  Remember, hate is a learned behavior as no one is born with it and I certainly was not joking about it rather, it was more of a comment about ignorance.  Ignorance of what may be important in one culture that because of such is ridiculed by another group and you (of all people) should have understood the context.  Ignorance and/or plain greed can manifest itself in other formats as well such as with the bison comment for how many existed (range & numbers) when Europeans first arrived?  Same can be applied to passenger pigeons, ducks, geese and elk, etc. and that's not "racist" as historical fact is the basis thereof.

Also, while I understand your skepticism what seems plainly evident is that even though Graybeard gave you your own forum to "stump" from the fact is you (and the guys responding earlier on this thread who are also regulars on your forum) prefer to attack me with peanut gallery comments.  A quick review of your post history (on this particular forum) clearly validates this position.

Perhaps, we would all be for the better to "think first and type second" ?

Perhaps you could drop the racial slurs that pop up in your posts, just because they are pointed at the "anglo" race doesnt mean they are ok,get rid of the chip on your shoulder and take a look at the stuff you post, most of it is just completely irrational, jibberish or cut and paste drama queen text from other sites and email. You spend 90% of your posts slandering your expals in your "field" and the other 10% of the time you are trying to tell me and others here how ignorant we are.Honestly, how do you expect people to respond to your posts?Your comparisons only make sense in your world and my skeptism has been enhanced by the little window you have given us into the BF "field".

When you look up the definition of "slur" in context to race the legal term "slander" is referenced as the basis thereof.  "Slander" is the utterance of defamatory statements that are injurious to the well-being of another person.  However, for slander to be an actionable cause (under the law) it first must possess the basic characteristic of being untrue.  Last I heard (see the First Amendment of the US Constitution) referencing historical/current fact while objectionable to those who may be cast in an unfavorable light, is not slanderous activity.

Your excess with labeling people that do not fit into the nine dots of NONYA's world tend to (IMHO) encourage many prudent people to question both your judgment as well as motives.

Matter of fact, 99.44% of what YOU post on this forum appear to fit the definition of irrational gibberish which may well be the reason for our webmaster giving you a forum to pontificate within but also appears to be the reason it has been so dormant of late.  Put another way, your skepticism ballooned into chronic ridicule without any basis thereof so the soapbox of "The real world...according to NONYA" came into being.  Is it really just not that "real" over there or do you simply like this sandbox better?

I can understand and respect anyone with a contrary opinion but when they can only mount a campaign of peanut gallery barbs without the benefit of any factual data to base their position upon it does lead me to believe that maybe they are just more cranky than contrary.
Perhaps this could explain the 8.6% alcoholism rate in Montana? *

Uhhh huhhh,ok.You might want to take a sample of your tap water in and have it tested for arsenic, your hallucinations and erratic behavior have to be a by product of something other than the bong water.
