Hogs in Eastern NC
« on: November 20, 2009, 04:14:54 AM »
Looking for a hog population in Eastern NC.  What counties to look in?  Would like to talk to a private land owner about permission to hunt their land for hogs.  Any advice?  Any hog populations on public land?

PM sent.  I am not looking for public lands (none around), but would like to find some farmers that don't mind giving permission in the off season after Jan. 1 for a couple guys to shoot pigs.

Wilson County, Grandparents used to have a place right outside of Chocowinity.  Been a long time since I've been down that way.

Heading there to hunt the Family farm with Uncle, Cousin, Dad, and Dad's other kid Woodrow, His 4 year old Yellow Lab.
We do not have hogs on the farm.  Do have a cousin that had a pig farm and there were a few excaped hogs running around out near Kinston but they were usually dispatched quickly.
