Hi Mc!!,
I used it in the 45-120 BC the first time I shot it, Hodgdon calls for 95gr with a 500gr bullet, I loaded em up, they went bang, but I got a lot of leading in the bore, same thing I've experienced with hot loads and the all lead Powerbelts in my TC Black Diamond muzzleloader. On the 45-120, I come to a quick realization that I had to use 2 to 3 times as much of it per load to get the same velocity, but it costs the same as Hodgdon's smokeless powders, so I only used it that one time cuz I had some of it!! If I had the choice of Goex or T7 and could get either, I'd go for the Goex, it costs less from what I've seen lately, not as cheap as I paid for what I have now at $7 a pound, I think it's double that now.
