Busta:
Do you use the WGRS as a ghost ring or with the supplied apperature?
What kind of accuracy can you get with that set up?
Thanks
I use the supplied aperture, .093" IIRC. You can also get .050" and .150" apertures for it or remove the aperture and use it as a ghost ring.
As far as accuracy, I have shot 1.4" and 1.6" 3 shot groups back to back with different bullets at 100 yds right before my last Colorado Elk Hunt. This was less than 2 weeks after I had a piece of steel ground out of my shooting eye too.
If I do my part, about 2" groups at 100 are not much problem off the bench. Never shot it as a ghost ring with the aperture removed, so couldn't comment on that. I am sure the groups would open up some at the longer ranges as a ghost ring.
The Williams WGRS-HR is only $18 from H&R/NEF Customer Service, twice that $36 most other places.
