Thompson Center Encore 41rem mag?

Do they make a 12inch handgun barrel in that round. 12inch barrel or less? also on a side note how heavy is the 15in barrel and what people think about lengths

T/C does not make one for the Encore.  Fox Ridge does even list them for the Encore.  Suppose some of the custom shops might make them, I have wanted one, but never bad enough to pay a custom shops price.

The last time I checked they were available from the t/c custom shop in any length from 9-26"
If I remember the price was $235. for a pistol length in factory blue finish, drilled/tapped for sights and scope.

Last time I looked a few months ago, Fox Ridge had 41 cal for the Contender, but not the Encore.  Just went there to check but their website was down.

check with Bullberry or MGM . I know all the guys at both places and are easy for me to work with.  MGM is doing a special on pistol barrels tell the end of Ausust.

So will the folks at:  http://www.sskindustries.com and they are and have for years been a strong supporter and advertiser at GBO. IF you're going to put links to non sponsors at least list my sponsor who does the same as well.

Jeff at MGM says he is soon to become a sponsor here but so far I've not seen the money. Banners are supposed to be getting made for him to send to me with the cash but I can get nothing from the folks supposed to be making the banners as to a date it might happen. I "think" they will become sponsors here as well but cannot call them that at this time since the money is not in my hands.

Bullberry you will Waite for a very long time. I ordered a 12" 357 match chrome moly  contender barrel on 3-30-07 and I am still waiting for it!  they haven't even started working on it I called several times and was told they had trouble getting the blank that the maker shorted them a few 357 blanks
I called last week and told the blank would be in and they would start the work on it this week and they would contact me before  the week ends well it is 9:00 PM friday night and no word from them. I am going to call them next week and see what the excuse is this time!

have you already paid them? i would demand a refund and the barrel if so. if you haven't i still would demand the barrel at no cost if it takes that long. i am not ever going to buy on if it takes this long every time

the sad thing about my the barrel is that it is not that uncommon of one, I can buy a used one for around  $150 I want this to replace a factory 10" contender barrel that the scope base pulled off and T/C told me they would not be able to fix it and they don't have any 357 mags in stock and I would have to wait until they do the next batch.
I have my heart set on a 357 magnum when I call them next week I am going to tell them I will take a contender or an encore barrel in S.S. or blue from 12" to 15"  as long as it is a match chamber and in 357 mag

the reason I went with bullberry is I had a contender 209x50 barrel that I took a good buck with and sent them the story and I won a prize of $100 off your next barrel from them so the jest of it is I should be getting a custom 357 magnum match blued barrel for $211.00 shipped to me, But now I am thinking it is not worth the troubles and long wait. i needed this barrel for summer hunting of ground hogs and fox but now that is out the window

wow that would have been a good deal, sounds like they didn't want to give you the discount. you could have probably had even more extra money if it had been a factory t/c barrel which is just as accurate.

They would  be around the same price, but if I decide to sell or trade the bullberry 357 it would move faster then a factory barrel
