Hi! I'm new!

Hi! I'm new to this forum. As you can tell by my name I am a big trapper, but I also hunt and catfishing of course. I do alot of catfishing at paylakes around my house. I'm only 16 and have no boat so it's hard for me to fish the BIG lakes. In fact I'm planning on heading to the paylake this Saturday. Can't Wait! Well, I just wanted to say HI, and I'm happy to be here. :D

you're new but have more posts than me.....hmmmm..... :?
Good to see ya.
I hunt both archery and rifle for whitetail, bear, and turkey.   I fish for trout, bass, carp, pickeral, catfish and anything else that will bite.
So if anyone would like to strike up any conversation, chances are i have either questions or knowledge about the subject of interest.

Welcome to the catfish forum young KYtrapper. Its great to have more catfishermen around to learn from.  I hope you enjoy reading about everybodys catfishing adventures as much as I do.  The spring and early summer rush of chores and work seems to be ending and I hope everybody will have some more time to wet a line now.  I read your latest submissions first, and every body likes to talk about baits. I have tried all of the baits mentioned in those threads, except catalpa worms. And I never had any kind of consistent sucess until I started using fresh caught cutbait.  It has got to be the best all-round , first choice bait I have ever used.  If there is a cat within smellin range of your cut bait you will probably catch him.  If you don't catch one there probably aren't any around. Thats the confidence I have in fresh cutbait, and when its time to fall asleep by the campfire hook up a big live bait and tie your rod to the rodholder so that it will still be there in the morning.
