New to me, home done forend.

I got a forend Cheap off of Ebay, I had hoped to use it with the 6" 22 I have coming, but when It got here the hole was to far foreward.  It's wierd cause it appears to be a 10" single screw forend but the hole is 1/2 forward of the dovetail.  So with minimal tools I ground, chipped, dremeled and sanded it til the hole lined up and then made sure it opened also.  My custom 9" 30-30 barrel was my template. I had to also notch the front of the forend for the 2nd dove tail on my 30-30.  it's stil rough cut right now but will be beutiful once i finish it off.

Obviously the 6 inch 22 is a modification from something else than a 10" Let me know.
