I've been noticing that the 12BVSS has the 300 WSM and the 112 Varminter Low Profile has the 300 Win Mag.

If the shooter is capable, are these rifles in these calibers just accurate as the same rifle in 223 or something similar?  I used to have a 12FV 223 that was incredibly accurate and I had to sell it.  I'd like to get one of the rifles mentioned above, but I want to make sure they are just as accurate before I start getting too serious.

I have one in stainless, it is an older model with a fluted heavy barrel, I can't remember if it is a 116, 112 or 110.  It is very accurate with some of the factory rounds I used, Hornady 165gr interbonds consistently group less than 1" at 100 yards, also had good accuracy with Win failsafes.  The Federal Fusion grouped about 6" at 100 yards and had the absolute worst accuracy I have ever seen.

I've heard some other guys talk about how great their 12BVSS's are with those bullet wieghts too.  I've never heard anything that bad about the fusion ammo though.  I'll remember to stay away from that stuff.

Teddy, the fusion ammo might work great in any other gun, I just had no luck with it in mine.  For the price it might be worth trying a box, you could always give away the unused bullets to a buddy, the 300 mag is a popular round.

What size of groups do you get with yours and is the recoil bad?  I'm still on the fence with this one.

As I said above, fusion ammo about 6" groups.  Hornady interbonds consistently hit 1" or better.  Also had good luck with failsafes.  The rifle weighs 11+ pounds so recoil isn't too bad, except with the failsafes, they hit pretty good on both ends.
