I am thinking of having some holes drilled on my golden boy to mount the henry cantilever scope mount, anybody use one of these on your guns?

I just put one on my gun. But no scope. I put a receiver sight on it and a Lyman High apature front sight with a 1/4" elavator block. The stock angle is not the best for the hight of the sights but it is working well. Need a better trigger. J.Michael

Installed a number of cantilever Henry scope mounts, and Bushnel red-dots, usuing JB weld to avoid drilling and taping the recevier.  All work well, none have fallen off or changed position since mounting.  I did same for my wife's 2, and friends who owned Henry's and saw the mount.  Total, 7ea.  Hope this helps.
