Lumenok Questions

Has anyone had any first hand experience with Lumenok, lighted noks? They look like and effective tool for recovering arrows, game and assessing hits on game.

No personal experience with these since we can not use these during our hunting season here in Montana....

I have read on another forum that they do not last long though.

But what one can use is

Eze Crest Luma Arrow Wraps which are available at Cabelas or other Pro Shop Archery stores.

I used one last year on a big doe. It was cool to see the tracer effect in the early morning light. She died 20 yards later, but they would help in tracking or at least finding your arrow, should the deer run off. They also help you call shot placement easier. I like them. they are about 10 buck a pop, but I feel they are worth it.

If you do a search for lighted knock on Youtube, there is a video tutorial on how to make your own for about $3 each.
I happened to stumble across it yesterday and was a bit impressed by how simple the guy's idea is.
